godot is much easier than other engines, and is fairly powerful, i would advise you use it.

I am a fairly beginner programmer, i know python and gdscript and am planning to make the game for this jam in godot, but can use pygame if necessary. would love to find more teens that can code and make art. i myself know how to make a bit of music.

edit: i live in the timezone gmt+2 so if you are more than 3-4 hours away than it wont work.
